Their Story
Marianne and Wendi met in 2007 when Marianne was one of the founding owners of Pathway Medical. Marianne hired Wendi to coordinate the recruitment process and handle temporary placements, specializing in case management recruiting. From the moment they met, there was instant chemistry and mutual respect. Wendi quickly progressed within the company, proving herself to be an asset in the industry. In 2012 the company was sold, their roles changed and, eventually, Marianne and Wendi went their separate ways. But only after collaborating on multiple clients and projects together, including the redesign and re-staffing – from the ground up – of hospital case management teams.
Ironically both women found themselves at a crossroads in their career at the same time. Having stayed in touch with each other, it suddenly dawned on them to start their own case management recruiting and consulting company. Their mutual goal is to work with clients that understand and support care management, to work with highly qualified candidates in the industry and – yes – to make the match where they will live happily ever after!
Both founders are very passionate about care management and all the benefits and improved outcomes that care management offers - not only to its employers but to the consumer. They also offer consulting services, with the opportunity to work with the brightest and most experienced care management professionals in the industry.
As a female-owned organization, Global Care Management is committed to excellence and success through diversity of staff, candidates and clients. They perform their services through a process of inclusion, acceptance and respect to ensure the best overall experience for everyone. The company believes that each person has the right to find the right job and bloom!
